Hewlett Packard HP 3586C selective level meter

Das HP 3586C ist ein selektives Voltmeter entwickelt für präzise selektive Frequenzmessungen. Beispielsweise für Messungen der harmonischen und nicht harmonischen Verzerrungen an einem Verstärker für Nieder/Medium Frequenz, in der Telekommunikation oder auch an einem Hifi Verstärker. Das Instrument ist ein sehr präziser Spektrum Analyzer aber ohne Sweep. Das HP3586C kann auch breitbandige RMS Messungen durchführen.

Zusammen mit dem HP 3336B Generator lassen sich automatische GPIB Mitlaufmessungen mit und ohne externen Computer durchführen. Die Analyzerfrequenz bestimmt dabei die Frequenz des Generators, die automatisch mitläuft. Das Service Manual besteht aus einigen hundert Seiten und das Gerät wiegt etwa 20kg. Das Schwestermodell HP 3586A/B hat im wesentlichen andere Eingangsimpedanzen und ist spezieller für die Telekommunikation geeignet.

Together with a HP 3336B sythesizer you can do automatic measurements with or without a computer. Connecting a simple GPIB cable between the instruments, the generator will lock automatically to the adjusted analyzer frequency. The service manual consist of several hundred pages and the instruments weight is about 20kg. The sister modell HP 3586A/B has other input impedances and is more designed for telecommunication applications
