Yes, you are right, I was wrong, sorry.
My 7854 shows after power-on
the error code "ROM FAILURE", all four VERTICAL buttons and the CHOP
Button give light, also all red LEDs.
(from Instruction Manual REV Juli 1981, page 1-4)
After checking the ROM Board No. 31, I saw two missing ICs and I thought this is the fault.
(from Instruction Manual REV Juli 1981, page 2-78)
"U300 and U310 for future expansion", what a great company.
I think the ROMs U100, U110, U200 and U210 are a possible error source?

he guessed the ICs could be a 2716 Type, like the others. If he has that IC's he would like to program them for me.
He was asking, there was in the internet a site with ROM-Images for Tek Equipment?

sent me a photo of his 7854 board:
He told me the sockets are empty too and may be a Bit has changed in one of the other chips.
He wants to program for me, but at the moment he could only found one of these old ICs.
He is currently checking his home labor for more ICs.
