Tektronix 7M13 Readout Unit

Die Tektronix Readout Unit 7M13 ist ein Einschub gebaut für die Tektronix Oszilloskope aus der 7000 Serie. Dieser Einschub ist eine frühe Form der Dokumentation analoger Testgeräte. Die Geräte arbeiten auf analoger Basis, d.h. mit dem Oszilloskop Strahl wird tatsächlich eine Zahl oder ein Buchstabe auf den Bildschirm geschrieben. Das Gerät hat eine Vielzahl von integrierten Spezial IC's, die den Strahl so lenken, daß Buchstaben und Zahlen geschrieben werden. Heutzutage ist die Einblendung von Information in den Bildschirm sehr leicht. Vor ein paar Jahrzehnten jedoch, war ein enormer Aufwand nötig um etwas in die Röhre zu schreiben. Für Liebhaber dieser Technologie ist solch ein Einschub noch immer ein begehrtes Stück nostalgischer Technik. Auf der Röhre sieht das Geschriebene sehr schön aus.

The Tektronix Readout unit 7M13 is a plug-in for the Tektronix oscilloscopes from the 7000 series. This plug-in is an early form of the documentation of analoge test equipments.
